Ginkgo Bioworks, the leading horizontal platform for cell programming, announced a collaboration with MSD (tradename of Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, N.J., USA) to engineer up to four enzymes for use as biocatalysts in MSD’s active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing efforts.
